This comes from Tuscany and uses Tuscan grape varieties but methods usually found up in the Veneto to make passimento valpolicella and amarone. Part of the wine is fermented normally and part uses partially dried grapes. This gives a richer wine with smooth ripe fruit. This is like a rich version of Chianti with spicy black berried fruit. 2 x Senorial Tempranillo Rioja – Spain
Shiny dark crimson in colour with violet hues. Light bodied with baked raspberry fruit. This is juicy and easy drinking with quite firm tannins on the finish. 2 x Toro Fuerte Malbec – Argentina
