ORDERING

Orders placed on this website can only be delivered in Guernsey.

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered. You may also order by phoning 01481 249249.  All goods must be paid for either by credit / debit card at time of ordering. All goods remain the property of V.W.T. (Guernsey) Limited until paid for in full.

Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

We may refuse to accept an order:

(a) where goods are not available;
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
(d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

AVAILABILITY OF GOODS AND VINTAGE CHANGES

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Information on the site detailing stock levels should not be viewed as a guarantee of availability, and is a guide only. We shall not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. All vintages listed on the site are also subject to change without prior notice, an asterisk next to the year (e.g. 2015*) means this vintage is coming to an end and the new vintage will replace it once stock of current vintage has sold out.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY

Orders can be collected from our warehouse between 8.00am – 2.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank/Public Holiday) we will not supply or release alcohol to any individual that appears to be under the age of 21 without a passport or other valid form of identification that proves the recipient is 18 years of age or over.

We do not charge for delivery in Guernsey for all orders over £40.00. If your order is less than £40.00 net you will incur a £6.00 delivery charge.

All products listed on the website are subject to availability, and, if they are subsequently found to be unavailable once an order has been placed, you will be informed via email or telephone as soon as your order is processed by one of our office team.  We will always endeavour to offer an alternative.

Products ordered on the website before 9am Monday to Friday (excluding Bank/Public Holiday) will be dispatched and delivered next day, unless notified of any delay by e-mail or telephone.  If your order is placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a Bank/Public Holiday, it will be processed the next working day.

Please note that during busy times, if your items require gift wrapping, please allow at least 48 hours for delivery.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU GIVE US YOUR BEST CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER SO THAT WE CAN CALL YOU TO ARRANGE A SUITABLE DELIVERY TIME. ALL DELIVERIES REQUIRE A SIGNATURE ON RECEIPT, OUR STAFF WILL NOT SUPPLY OR RELEASE ALCOHOL TO ANY INDIVIDUAL THAT APPEARS TO BE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 WITHOUT A PASSPORT OR OTHER VALID FORM OF IDENTIFICATION THAT PROVES THE RECIPIENT IS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER.

Please note, this is not a guaranteed service and all delivery times are estimates only. We are unable to guarantee any delivery dates or times as delays may occur that are outside our control. We will of course endeavour to keep you informed at all times via email or by telephone.

IF WE ATTEMPT DELIVERY AT AN AGREED TIME AND DELIVERY IS NOT POSSIBLE WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE £6.00 FOR RE-DELIVERY.

PRICING

All prices are quoted duty paid delivered Guernsey. They are subject to alteration without prior notice to reflect major currency fluctuations, supplier pricing and changes in duty.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY

If you wish to cancel your order

(a) you can notify us by email at [email protected] before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
(b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with the clause below.

You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 2 working days of receipt for a refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

The right to return the goods to us as referred to the clause above will not apply in the following circumstances,

(a) in the event that the product has been used and/or not in a re-sellable condition.
(b) the return has not been pre-authorised by us.

LICENCE

You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis:

(a) no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;
(b) no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and
(c) any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.

AGE RESTRICTION

You must be aged 18 years old or over to purchase alcohol. By placing an order you are affirming that you are at least 18 years old. If you are buying alcohol as a gift then the recipient must be 18 years old or over. All goods must be signed for on collection or delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If there is no one of that age on collection or at the address when delivery is attempted, the goods will be retained by our staff.
