Made from the same grapes as champagne and by the same method but half the price. Dry but with a gentle mousse and delicate honey and brioche flavours that finish clean and crisp. Great aperitif and ideal base for Kir Royale.

2 x Famiglia Pasqua Romeo & Juliet Prosecco Treviso DOC
Don’t suppose they had Prosecco in Shakespeare’s day but if they did we’re pretty sure Romeo would have taken a bottle to that balcony. Fresh and frothy and actually quite serious with a good depth of fruiit, it’s a wine to fall in love with.

2 x Botter Brilla Prosecco DOC – Italy
Refreshingly crisp with a delicate perlage, pale straw yellow colour. Delicate and complex bouquet with fruity notes reminiscent of peach and green apple with secondary notes of acacia and lilac. Fresh and light on the palate, with balanced acidity and body; harmonious with a lingering aftertaste. In a great looking bottle with an encrusted label.

2 x La Fornarina Blanc de Blancs Millesimato – Italy
Intense fruity bouquet yet very elegant, clear scents of golden apples come through a floral background. Dry, fresh and lean, soft and rounded, with a pleasantly fruity finish.

2 x Nua Prosecco DOC – Italy
Beautiful bubbles with a perfumed, summery nose of ripe stone fruit and candied apple. The juicy, succulent palate has delicate bubbles, soft acidity and generous flavours of dessert pear and meadow flowers.

2 x Famiglia Pasqua Romeo & Juliet Prosecco Rose DOC – Italy
Although located around 100km west of Treviso, the romantically inspiring city of Verona is where Pasqua was founded in 1925, as well as having provided the backdrop for Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Pale salmon in colour, fresh on the nose with notes of pear and red fruits. On the palate it is dry with hints of red fruits and refreshing acidity.
