Aix-en-Provence and its surrounding hills are home to many fantastic producers of rose wines. At Chateau Paradis nestling on the slopes to the north of this historic town, they hand make a delicious Provençal rosé made by the saignee method of bleeding the fermenting juice from the skins to preserve delicacy and character. Essenciel rose wine has a rose-petal colour and is elegant and dry with aromatic fruit aromas derived from a vibrant blend of cabernet and syrah. Possibly the best value Provence rose on the market.

2 x Menetou-Salon Rose Domaine de L’Ermitage – France
If you are looking for a Sancerre rose but want something a little cheaper this is the perfect alternative. Made from 100% pinot noir, it has delicate flavours of strawberry fruit with a touch of peach, finishing crisp and dry. The perfect rose for sipping in the garden on a sunny day.

2 x Rosado Pasion de Bobal – Spain
Pale, Provence-style pink in colour with fresh strawberry, redcurrant and white flower aromas with a hint of rose. Nicely-balanced with clean, bright acidity, some minerality adding palate weight, and red berries and cream on the finish.

2 x Pinot Grigio Rose Arcano – Italy
A pretty pale pink colour with lots of ripe Conference pear, Honeydew melon and strawberry on the nose and palate. Dry and fresh with lifted acidity.

2 x Pink Orchid – U.S.A
Flavourful and off-dry with aromas and flavours of baked summer pudding, lychees, exotic fruit and tutti frutti.

2 x Peregrino Rose – Chile
An attractive, bright youthful colour with a subtle red cherry nose and a soft, ripe palate. This is well-balanced with a suggestion of sweetness in the plum jam flavoured finish.
