Don’t suppose they had Prosecco in Shakespeare’s day but if they did we’re pretty sure Romeo would have taken a bottle to that balcony. Fresh and frothy and actually quite serious with a good depth of fruiit, it’s a wine to fall in love with.

Although located around 100km west of Treviso, the romantically inspiring city of Verona is where Pasqua was founded in 1925, as well as having provided the backdrop for Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Pale salmon in colour, fresh on the nose with notes of pear and red fruits. On the palate it is dry with hints of red fruits and refreshing acidity.

3 x Famiglia Pasqua Romeo & Juliet Passimento Bianco Veneto IGT
This is made with the grape of Soave, gargenega, which has been partially dried before fermentation. Intense aromas of citrus fruits, almond and peaches on the nose, followed by a well balanced palate with a crisp dry finish.

Baby Amarone! This is made with grapes that have been partially dried before being fermented. It is rich with flavours of plums and cherries with a rich smooth finish.
