An extremely appealing nose of caramel and buttered toast, grilled nuts and pistachio shells. This is a flavoursome champagne with a nuts and crumble palate, fresh acidity and a long length.

1 x The Cloud Factory Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough
Classically bright and vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon. Perfumed with nettle ripe tropical fruits which are also evident on the palate along with limey flavours and a rich minerality – classic Marlborough Sauvignon. The wine is sappy fresh, clean and delicious.

1 x Cave de Lugny La Cote Blanche Unoaked Chardonnay Macon-Lugny
Made from vines grown near the village of Lugny this performs way above its price range. Full bodied with ripe melony fruit it is the perfect wine with shellfish.

1 x Dune Gris Rose Sable de Camargue
Delicious ripe peach and melon, with a twist of pink grapefruit zest and the freshness of a sea breeze. An enchantingly pale, copper coloured rosé – even more sophisticated looking than its chic cousins from Provence – with a lovely weight and texture across the length of the palate and a dusting of Southern French spice.

1 x Los Vinateros Crianza Rioja
Very appealing aromas of dill, coconut and succulent red fruit and brambles. Spicy, warm and rounded this has well balanced tannins and a good length.

1 x Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Superieur
If you follow the ciritics, James Suckling awarded this vintage 91 points, Wine Spectator gave it 90 and so did Wine Enthusiast magazine. Decanter said “Classic cedar, black fruit and mint nose, palate of firm tannins, bell pepper and clean acidity. With its equal proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Supérieur Red is half-way between a Medoc and a Saint-Emilion. Merlot gives it its supple, fruity fleshiness; Cabernet-Sauvignon provides structure and additional tannic density. This traditional Parenchère blend is generally very fleshy, with a very deeply coloured robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish.
