Description
1 x Jules Feraud Brut Champagne
An extremely appealing nose of caramel and buttered toast, grilled nuts and pistachio shells. This is a flavoursome champagne with a nuts and crumble palate, fresh acidity and a long length.
1 x Andre Mathieu Rouge Chateauneuf-du-Pape
The 9 hectares of vineyards used to make this cuvee are spread across several different terroirs within the appellation, producing the 13 grape varieties. Traditional winemaking methods and 12-14 months ageing in old foudre barrels give the wine a ruby-red colour with aromas of small red berries and spices. This is an elegant wine whose tannins integrate well with its rounded flavours
1 x Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Superieur
Classic cedar, black fruit and mint nose, palate of firm tannins, bell pepper and clean acidity. With its equal proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Superieur Red is half-way between a Medoc and a Saint-Emilion. Merlot gives it its supple, fruity fleshiness; Cabernet-Sauvignon provides structure and additional tannic density. This traditional Parenchere blend is generally very fleshy, with a very deeply coloured robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish.
1 x Chateau de Tracy Pouilly Fume
If you are tired of in-your-face Sauvignon buy a bottle of this because this is Sauvignon at its most graceful with delicate stone fruit and citrus aromas. The citrus flavours continue on the palate which has a hint of flint from the silex soils in the background. The wine shows its class with a long crisp finish.
1 x Domaine Garnier et Fils Chablis
Proof that the 2023 vintage in Chablis has produced really classic steely wines. The soils of Maligny, Ligny et Villy make up, in order of importance, the blend for this Chablis where each commune brings its own character. The pale yellow with hints of green marks the arrival of Chablis , whilst the floral and cut grass aromas blend with chalky flintiness.
1 x Chateau D’Esclans Whispering Angel Provence Rose
Chateau dโEsclans is located on an exceptional site, on elevated land near the Gorges de Pennafort, twenty kilometers northwest of the ancient Roman city of Frejus on the Mediterranean coast. The first traces of the chateauโs site date back to Gaullist times during which its location served as a lookout point to spot intruders coming by boat into the Gulf of Frejus. The surrounding land around Chateau dโEsclans is known as La Vallee des Esclans (the valley of the clans). A pale partridge eye pink with perfumed bouquet, which follows with elegant summer fruits. The palate is refined and elegant with faint cherry nuances and beautifully integrated balancing acidity. This superb rose is made from a blend of old vines and using traditional Burgundian winemaking techniques, resulting in a rounded and expressive Provence rose with unusual complexity.
