2 x Chateau Croix de Rambeau Lussac St-Emillion
The nose is fruity and offers a very fine concentration/richness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, Boysen berry and small notes of fleshy small red fruits associated with fine touches of nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, minerality as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, Boysen berry and small notes of fleshy/crushed red fruits associated with a fine touch of flowers as well as slight toasted hints and vanilla. There are a hint of ripe almond and a hint of vanilla on the persistence. Tannins are well-built and very discreetly chewy. A very slight almost saline hint on the background.

2 x Chateau du Val d’Or Grand Cru St-Emilion
Dark purple and shiny robe. Fine and open nose, evoking black fruits and roasted almonds. Delicately smoky, enhanced with aromas of marzipan. Frank and powerful attack on the palate, suggesting notes of black fruits and spices (pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon). Balanced and generous the finish is elegant and persistent.

2 x Vieux Chateau Negrit Montagne St-Emilion
Red dress with ruby highlights. Balance of aroma between notes of fruit (wild strawberry) and peppery notes. Frankish attack tannins very present. Fruity aromatic return.

2 x Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Superieur
With its equal proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Supérieur Red is half-way between a Medoc and a Saint-Emilion. Merlot gives it its supple, fruity fleshiness; Cabernet-Sauvignon provides structure and additional tannic density. This traditional Parenchère blend is generally very fleshy, with a very deeply coloured robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish.

2 x Chateau La Garenne
Dark berry fruit and earthy, tobacco aromas mingle with a subtle minty, herbal element. Bright, juicy and fruity, the structure doesn’t overwhelm as all too often it can in Bordeaux.

2 x Chateau de Lavison Bordeaux
Medium depth of colour with red berry fruits such as raspberry and cranberry with a sprinkling of white pepper. There are some fine, elegant tannins on the finish which helps the length along.
