Description
2 x Fairview Goats Do Roam White Blend
Bright and clear with flashes of green. This is a medium bodied wine with aromas of apricots, pear and white blossom on the nose. Lingering citrus flavours on the palate are complemented with a zesty acidity.
2 x Waterkloof Circumstance Chenin Blanc Stellenbosch
The nose is enormously redolent of Manuka honey and yellow pollen. The palate is soft and creamy with citrus and a wonderful textural minerality, waxy lanolin notes and honey. Lovely palate weight and Vouvray-like body supports further complexity and decadence.
2 x Cape Marlin Chenin Blanc
Fragrant and aromatic with tangerine, yellow and red plums and nectarine. Fruit forward and juicy with well-balanced acidity.
2 x Le Riche Richesse Stellenbosch
Le Riche is the master of modern Cape Cabernet. A wine that over delivers on all fronts! This is the only red wine produced by Le Riche that is not 100% Cabernet. A reincarnation of Le Riche’s classic Cab Merlot blend, this is an exceptionally lovely, classically Bordelaise blend. Restrained but appealing on the nose with typical red fruit aromas of plum and cherries are balanced by a sensation of the finely ground graphite found in Left Bank Bordeaux. The palate is a masterpiece of blending – hugely appealing with juicy mouth-filling flavours of red berries, plums and smoky hints balanced with a fine, soft tannic structure and rounded finish. Finely structured and phenomenally fine, Christo Le Riche has more than stepped into his fatherโs shoes!
2 x Fairview The Goatfather
Italy comes to South Africa! Made from a blend of barbera, cabernet sauvignon, sangiovese and nebbiolo, this full-bodied wine has pronounced red fruit on the nose with perfumed violets. The palate mirrors the initial aromas with added savoury flavours and a prominent herbal note on the finish.
2 x Bon Courage Estate Pepper Tree Shiraz
This full-bodied wine suggests ripe fruit reminiscent of spicy plums and ripe berry fruit. Pepper and vanilla flavours follow through onto the palate with the wine showing soft tannins after 12โ18 months in French oak.
