£23.99Classic cedar, black fruit and mint nose, palate of firm tannins, bell pepper and clean acidity. With its equal proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Superieur Red is half-way between a Medoc and a Saint-Emilion. Merlot gives it its supple, fruity fleshiness; Cabernet-Sauvignon provides structure and additional tannic density. This traditional Parenchere blend is generally very fleshy, with a very deeply coloured robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish. -

£21.49Pale yellow with bright silvery/green highlights. The nose is intense, opening up on notes of boxwood, citrus fruit and mango. A short time in the glass opens up the typical Sauvignon aromas of yellow fruit (apricot and nectarine) and flowers (broom and lily of the valley), underpinned by spicy notes of green peppers and vanilla. In addition to the aromas of the bouquet the first taste sensation is of ripe fruit with a pleasant, refreshing structure. It then returns to more floral notes, ending with grapefruit zest and sweet spices. The palate has great aromatic length, carried by a lovely texture. -
