Description
This organic Madiran is a blend, dominated by the local Tannat variety, but also containing some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. All three varieties are fermented separately, undergoing light pumping overs for gentle extractions. This is to obtain a balanced level of tannins for structure. The wine is aged in barrel for 12 months for light oxygen exposure. Rich on the nose with dark black fruits and spice, combined with a juicy body and powerful yet silky tannins.
