This Petit Chablis comes from a great site of 2.2 hectares. Six months in stainless steel tanks allow the wine to maintain its citrus freshness unlike any other, that of Chardonnay at its purest. -

Jean Pascal runs his small family domaine in the village of Puligny by meticulous traditional winemaking. With small parcels of vineyards located across 4 communes in the Cote de Beaune and a reputation for excellent valued white burgundies, his Puligny Montrachet does not dissappoint. It is wonderfully elegant, not overly oaked and retains a lovely concentration of fruit, displaying butterscotch and hazelnuts notes, and finishing with complex flavours of brioche and cinnamon. -

If you find most sauvignon blanc too fruity for your taste give this a go. Flinty soils (silex) make brilliant under-stated Sancerre. The citrus fruit is held in check with the minerality of the soil making a complex dry white that is the perfect accompaniment to oysters and mussels. Drinking well now but capable of aging 3 to 4 years too. -

This Macon-Loche is the result of blending two plots located at the bottom of the slope in the village of Loche, situated 3 km from Chaintre. Its clay-limestone terroirs, with very deep soil, rest on a vein of very hard limestone rock crossing the lower part of the Loche hill. Aged in stainless steel tanks, the wine reveals a bouquet of apricot, peach and dried fruits. Initially round and pleasing, the palate gradually becomes complex and structured, leading to a long and persistent finish with citrus flavours.
